What the Psalms Say about
Heaven and Hell

Is Heaven a physical place? IOr, is it just an idea? Or is it a state of being? The Bible has much to say about Heaven. The Book of Psalms tells us that Heaven is an actual physical place and that GOD was the one who made it.

The Scriptures also tell us that Heaven is where GOD has His throne.

Psalm 11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. (KJV)

Psalm 14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek GOD. (KJV)

Psalm 19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. (KJV)

Psalm 20:6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. (KJV)

Psalm 33:13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. (KJV)

Psalm 53:2 GOD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek GOD. (KJV)

The wicked shall be turned into Hell

Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget GOD. (KJV)

Psalm 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (KJV)

Psalm 18:5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. (KJV)

Psalm 35:7 For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul. (KJV)

Psalm 55:15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them. (KJV)
