HIS SERVANTS' MINISTRY
www.godcannotlie.org
Welcome to our web site
We here at His Servants'
Ministry, teach the whole Truth of God's Holy Word. We teach God's
goodness and mercy and Heaven; but we also teach God's righteous wrath
and judgment to come and an eternal Hell, a Lake of Fire.
It deeply saddens me the way that the world is turning away from the goodness of Almighty God. The vast majoriy of people in the world today never, ever, think of eternity. They just keep on keeping on in their sin, and they really must think they will go to Heaven. My dear friend, there really IS a Hell, and there really IS a Judgment Day when ALL people will be held accountable for their sins. BEWARE!!!

Book of Daniel
Chapter 7
INTRODUCTION TO DANIEL 7
This chapter begins the second major section of the book (Dan. 7-12), which contains the first of Daniel's four major visions. Just as the things that happened in the first part of the book (Dan. 1-6) are presented in the order they took place, so too are Daniel’s visions in the second part of the Book of Daniel. The visions that Daniel had in chapters 7 and 8, belong chronologically between the events of chapters 4 and 5. And the vision in chapter 9 was given about the time of the events in chapter 6. The last vision (Dan. 10-12) comes near the end of Daniel's life.
The Vision of the Four Beasts
This vision of Daniel adds more content to the revelation given in Nebuchadnezzar's first dream (Dan. 2). Nebuchadnezzar's dream concerns the four kingdoms; and Daniel's vision concerns these same four kingdoms. This section was written in the language of the ancient Near East, and includes the visions and events that concerned all the nations and peoples of that day. In the vision of the four beasts, God reveals His awesome power that He has over ALL the nations of the Earth. God’s mighty power will insure the final fate of the world's peoples (Ps.32:9; 49:20; 73:22). The only things that lift a person up in God’s Eyes, is a close fellowship with Him and a willing obedience to Him. The minute anyone tries to exalt himself to freedom from God . . . he will fail, just as Nebuchadnezzar did (Dan.4:30). BEWARE!!!
THEME: Daniel's vision of the four beasts; the visions of the Son of Man coming in clouds of Heaven; the definition of the four beasts; the explanation of the fourth beast.
Chapter 7 opens a new and different section of the Book of Daniel than what we have had so far. The first six chapters contain the historic part of the Book of Daniel, while the last six chapters are prophetic.
Daniel's Vision of the Four Beasts (7:1-8)
Daniel 7:1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters. (KJV)
This is the same Belshazzar who was slain at the taking of Babylon (Dan.5:30). This chapter actually takes place before Chapter 5, chronologically. Belshazzar had just been given a position of authority (553 B.C.), and Daniel was possibly in his late sixties. The first six chapters of Daniel present history; the last six chapters are visions which involve the future.
The reason why Chapter 5 was put in an improper time place was that all the historic events might be together, and the prophetic events be separated.
Daniel had a vision of four beasts, each beast represented a world empire. This vision corresponds with Nebuchadnezzar's dream in Chapter 2. While Nebuchadnezzar's dream related to the political aspects of the empires; Daniel's dream illustrated their moral characteristics. These nations, which would reign over Israel, were evil and cruel . . . but Daniel also saw in his vision God's everlasting, indestructible Kingdom arrive and conquer them all.
He wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters . . . Daniel wrote down his extraordinary dream, that he might not forget it.
Daniel 7:2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. (KJV)
The four winds . . . puts in our minds strife that is produced where the east, the west, the north and the south winds rise violently, and meet on the surface of the sea. I think the great sea means the Mediterranean, not lakes called seas by the Hebrews; such as the Sea of Galilee, Dead Sea, Sea of Tiberias, etc. The great sea in Scripture is always the Mediterranean Sea.
This dream of Daniel has the same meaning, under different symbols. Nebuchadnezzar dreamed of a multi-metallic image; while in Daniel's dream, several things are added. It is thought that Daniel had his dream about 48 years after Nebuchadnezzar had the vision of the great image.
By the four winds . . . upon the great sea is possibly meant uproars in contrary nations and groups, struggling together by wars, which produce these four beasts one after the other.
This is often indicated by winds (Jer.49:36; 51:1), in the destruction of Babylon, the first monarchy; and of the Persian kingdom.
Daniel 7:3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. (KJV)
The term sea here seems to mean to be tumultuous, agitated, and seems to be used here to point out that the Earth is generally in an agitated state. The four winds striving, point out those greedy wars that prevailed almost universally among men, from the days of Nimrod, the founder of the Assyrian or Babylon monarchy, down to that time, and in the ended with the four great monarchies which Daniel had in his vision.
Diverse one from another . . . the people were different; the laws and customs were different; and the administration of each was performed differently.
And four great beasts . . . four great monarchies, great in power, beasts for their idolatry and cruel oppressions and destructions.
Daniel 7:4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. (KJV)
The lion with eagle's wings represents Babylon, with King Nebuchadnezzar intended (vs.17). This lion had eagle's wings which makes it a very unusual lion. In Babylon, the famous Ishtar Gate had pictures of lions with wings. The lion represents the king of the beasts and the eagle represents the king of the birds. The eagle's wings mean Babylon’s ability to move an army quickly, which has been the secret of any great world power. Nebuchadnezzar had the ability to move an army swiftly, and that was what brought him to such great world power. Such was also the secret of Alexander the Great, the Roman Caesars and Napoleon. The wings thereof were plucked . . . this clearly refers to the humbling of Nebuchadnezzar in his mental lapse and loss of identity (Dan.4:33), and showing its downfall was certain. And made stand upon the feet as a man . . . I think means Nebuchadnezzar's restoration. This proud king had become like a literal beast and he acted like one, but his mind was restored by God and he was brought back to sanity. Nebuchadnezzar was called a lion in Jeremiah 49:19 and 50:44. His army was known for its speed, and because of this, Ezekiel described him as having the wings of an eagle (Eze.17:3,7). Babylon was represented as a lion was for its great power and it represented an eagle was for its arrogance.
Daniel 7:5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. (KJV)
The second beast, which was a bear-like beast, with three ribs in its mouth. This beast parallels Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the two arms and chest of silver. This is one nation merged from two nations (the Medes and Persia). Persia became the dominant power, which is why Daniel sees the bear as raised up on one side. One side is stronger than the other. The bear is less majestic than the lion, and its bulky body is less graceful and agile. Now we have another beast, a bear, which represents the kingdom of Medo-Persia, which is the arms of silver of Nebuchadnezzar's image (Dan.2:32). This is a fitting symbol of Medo-Persia because of their blood thirsty cruelty, robberies and love of spoil (Isa.13:16-18; Jer.51:48-56). As the bear raised itself up on one side, he struck with the strong hand of Medes, conquering Babylon; then he followed through with the attack of the Persians, who took over Egypt and the rest of the world, which had been ruled by Babylon. Cyrus the Persian was greater than Darius the Mede (Dan.5:31) and who came up last (2 Chron.36:20-23; Ezra 1:1-8; 3:7; 4;5; Isa.44:28; 45:1). This kingdom is mentioned in: (Dan.5:24-31; 6:1-28; 7:5, 17; 8:1-4, 20; 10:1-20; 11:1-2; Isa.13:17-22; 21:2; 2 Ki.17:6; 18:11).
Three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it . . . this symbolizes the defeat of Babylon, Lydia, and Egypt by the Medes and Persians. The bear devoured much flesh.

Daniel 7:6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. (KJV)
Again, this beast also very unusual, a leopard with four wings on its back. the third beast is a leopard with four wings on its back. This beast parallels Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the bronze belly and thighs of the statue. We know this is the Greek Empire (Jer. 5:6, Hos. 13:7, Hab. 1:8) The leopard is less majestic than the lion and less grand than the bear, but it is faster than both. Its four wings would make it twice as fast as the two-winged lion. This is exactly what happened in history. Greece, under Alexander the Great, moved and conquered nations quickly. Within four years, Alexander the Great conquered the entire Medo-Persian empire, including Egypt, Syria, and Israel. Within six years, he conquered more than 11,000 miles of territory from Greece in the west to the border of India in the east. Its four heads represent the four generals: Lysimachus, Cassander, Ptolemy, Seleucus . . . who divided up the kingdom. The Greek Empire, began as one unit, but split into four divisions after Alexander’s death in 323 B. C. Two of the generals, Ptolemy and Seleucus, had gre at influence over Israel.
None of the conquests of other beasts equaled those of Alexander. The four headsssymbolize the four divisions of the Grecian Empire after the death of Alexander, as do the four horns of (Dan.8:22-23). Heads are always a symbol of kingdoms, rulers (Dan.8:20-23; Rev.17:9-11). This particular kingdom is mentioned in Dan.2:32, 35, 39, 45; 7:6, 17; 8:5-25; 10:20; 11:3-45; Zec.8:13.
Daniel 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. (KJV)
The phrase after this indicates that the fourth kingdom would follow the one before. The first three creatures were not animals BUT . . . they were like animals. This fourth creature was so astonishing . . . that Daniel refrained from trying to describe it. There was something very different about this beast, for it was far more ferocious than the others. The fourth creature parallels Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of iron legs and feet. The fourth empire underwent multiple stages, which are described in Chapter 2. There was the united stage, which the Roman Empire fulfilled. Then, a two-division stage, a ten-horn, and a Little Horn stage, and finally, a ten-division stage. Daniel did not compare this fourth beast to any animal . . . the only thing that he said was that it was "terrible, and strong exceedingly." It had teeth that would not conquer, but instead would crush every nation. It devoured and broke its enemies into pieces. It was not long that the other nations become part of the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire was unique in this way in that it would conquer nations and unite those people into its society. They freely granted Roman citizenship to outsiders to Romanize them and turn them into willing participants versus becoming enemies. The Romans called this system “Divide and Rule.” This looked forward to the "one world government", which is in the works this very day as I sit and write!
The fourth beast is a symbol of the old Roman Empire, the fourth of the four kingdoms. It is mentioned in the New Testament (Lk.2:1; 3:1; Jn.11:48; Acts 2:10; 16:21; 18:2; 22:8; Phil.4:22; Rev.13; 17:8-17). This Roman Empire was a dreadful, terrible and strong beast with great iron teeth that symbolize the iron of the image (Dan.2:40-43). It devoured the other beasts and trampled on them with its feet, meaning it conquered all the territories of the first beasts . . . Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece. Rome was different from all the beasts before it, not only in its form of government, but also in power, greatness, extent of territory, and length of duration. The ten horns symbolize the ten kingdoms in the last days, the last form of the old Roman Empire (Dan.7:7-8, 23-24; Rev.13; 17:8-17). Horns always symbolize kings, or power (Dan.7:7-8, 23-24; 8:8-9, 20-23; Rev.17:8-17).
Much more attention is given to the fourth beast than to all of the other three added together. Is there a lesson here for us today? YES! Why? Because we are living in the time of the fourth beast . . . the time when the ten toes and ten horns is beginning to reveal itself.

The fourth beast is completely different from the others, and this beast is given to Daniel in a separate vision. All the other beasts have parallels in the jungles and zoos today: a lion, a bear and a leopard. We all have seen a lion or a bear or a big cat, but we have never seen a beast like this forth beast on land or sea or in the air. This is a very unusual beast. This fourth beast which represents the Roman Empire is characterized by strength. It brought on dread and terror, and it did not resemble any of the other beasts.
These four beasts are indeed monstrous; a lion with eagle’s wings; a bear with three ribs in its mouth; a leopard with four wings, and four heads; and a beast with ten horns. But such symbols were figurative language that was usual among the eastern nations (Eze.1:4-28; 37:9-10, 14).
Daniel 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. (KJV)
Daniel now sees an eleventh horn on the head of the fourth beast. This horn was much smaller than the others, yet it had strength, for it uprooted the other ten horns. This horn was distinct, in that it had human characteristics. It had the eyes of man and a mouth speaking blasphemous things. Eventually, this Little Horn will remove three of the original ten horns.
These ten horns of this beast do NOT represent a fifth beast of a fifth kingdom, because they grow out of the head of the fourth beast. This is the last advancement of the fourth beast. In the toes of the first vision, the vision of the image (Dan.2:40-42), they are iron and clay. Iron is still there; Rome is still there . . . but the clay (weakness), is there too. Possibly the iron represents the oppressive rule of one man, and the clay represents the people. Do you see that weakness in our democratic government today? We indeed are proud of the freedom we have. Let us thank God each day for it! BUT dear one, you and I are very unimportant to our government! We have very little to do with the control of our government or with the choice of our president. The lobbyists (paid campaigners) and the greedy, wealthy politicians are making the choices. I thank God for the liberty we have left, but if this keeps on, this will be a communist nation under control of the ever increasing billionaires.
BEWARE!!! People are being brainwashed to think as they think.

BEWARE of SOCIALISM!!!
The following taken from the New World Encyclopedia:
Socialism refers to a broad array of doctrines or political movements that envisage a socio-economic system in which the ownership of industry and the distribution of wealth are determined by the state or by agents of the state or the collective. In its most general sense, socialism seeks the co-prosperity and common cause of all people, which could be accomplished without force in religious and utopian communities. But, in general practice, it refers to the use of state force to redistribute wealth.
When Christ Jesus rules on this Earth (Rev.20:1-5), there shall be a different form of government! He is not going to ask us what we want Him to do, He is going to run His Kingdom the way He wants to run it, the way it SHOULD be run! That is why we should be conformed to His image (Rom.8:29); or else we will be very uncomfortable under His dictatorship. My friend, He will put out of His Kingdom anything and everything that offends, and anyone who rebels against Him. Every knee shall bow to Him and every tongue shall confess that He is God in His absolute rule (dictatorship) (Isa.45:23; Rom.14:11).
Rome fell apart because of internal corruption, rottenness and drunkenness. All four of these empires went down because of drunkenness. America has a HUGE drug problem, and they admit it BUT . . . all liquor is legal. There are millions of alcoholics trying to hold down jobs today, and MANY of these are in high places in our government. But, what about all the housewives and even children who are alcoholics? Few even know about them until they commit suicide or need to be put into a mental institution. It will NOT be like this in the Kingdom of God (Isa.5:11; 28:1, 7; Hab.2:15; Lk.21:34; Rom.13:13; 1 Cor.5:11; 6:10; Gal.5:21; 1 Pet.4:3).
WHY the Roman Empire fell!
Edward Gibbon “The Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire” said the 5 reasons for the fall of the Roman Empire: (Taken from J. Vernon McGee’s study on Isaiah, Ch. 1:4-18, in his “Thru The Bible” program.)
1. The undermining of the dignity and sanctity of the home, which is the basis of human society.
2. Higher and higher taxes; the spending of public money for free bread and circuses for the populace.
3. The mad craze for pleasure; sports becoming every year more exciting, more brutal, more immoral.
4. The building of great armaments when the great enemy was within; the decay of individual responsibility.
5. The decay of religion, fading into a mere form, losing touch with life, losing power to guide the people.
DOES ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR? ALL of it is happening in today’s world! Will the USA fall? Yes, I believe that it will, IF people do not change.
The Roman Empire shall be revived. Another little horn is the key to it. He uproots three of the ten horns and sets himself up over all. I do not know who the ten kingdoms are, but they will come from the breakup of the Roman Empire. In this horn were eyes which means human intelligence and genius. A mouth speaking great things means the blasphemy of this man.
I believe the little horn is the Antichrist (Rev.13). (1.) The little horn means only one king (vs.24). (2.) He must reign before the Kingdom of Christ comes to power.

The Visions of the Son of Man
Coming In Clouds of Heaven (7:9-14)
From verses 9 to 12, the focus of this revelation moves from Earth to Heaven and from the Little Horn to the Ancient of Days (vs. 9-10). Verse 11 reveals the destruction of the fourth beast.
Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. (KJV)
Daniel seems to be in Heaven. He saw the angelic court preparing to begin proceedings in a heavenly courtroom (1 Kings 22:19, 2 Chron. 18:18). The Ancient of Days is a title that appears three times here in Daniel 7 (9, 13, 22). Psalm 55:19 describes God as “He that abideth of old.” His garment was white as snow, which represents His Holiness. His hair was like pure wool, which represents His purity. (Isaiah 1:18) God’s throne was made of fiery flames, in Scripture, fire represents the Presence of God. We see His Shekinah Glory (Ex. 3:2, 19:16, 18; Deut. 33:2) as a symbol of judgment (Deut. 4:24, Ps. 97:1-5). Like Ezekiel (1:13-21), Daniel speaks of the fiery throne having wheels, and they too were burning with fire.
Daniel now tells us more of what he saw in his vision . . . the Throne of God is revealed. It is in preparation for the judgment of the Great Tribulation and the Second Coming of Christ to the Earth (Rev.19:11-21).
I beheld till the thrones were cast down matches: Rev. 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. (KJV)
In the Book of Revelation, John gives the number of the elders and other details, Daniel does not mention this because his subject does not include the church and its future.
By thrones cast down must mean the kingdoms of this world, which shall be destroyed by Christ the King and Judge of all. Christ is called the Ancient of days, because of His eternal Deity; without beginning and end of days (Heb.7:3). Whose garment was white as snow . . . so were the kings' viceroys clothed, as Joseph was in fine silk (Gen.41:42), and Mordecai in a garment of fine linen and purple (Esther 8:15).
The hair of his head like the pure wool (Rev.1:14), stating His innocence and righteousness in judgment (Isa.42:4). His throne was like the fiery flame . . . this states Christ Jesus’ majesty in judgment (Ps.1:3-4; Mal4:1; Rev.4:5; 19:11-12). His wheels as burning fire . . . speaks of the endless energy and restless power of God (Eze.1:13-21). I think that this speaks of the greatest and most frightening state of the Last Judge and judgment. His wheels could refer to the kings who had movable thrones, which had wheels. I think also that it speaks of God's swiftness in judgment (Mal.3:5).
Daniel 7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. (KJV)
A fiery stream issued . . . stating His justice and wrath, in giving sentence and executing it.Fiery: (Ps.50:3; 97:2-3; Isa. 30:2-3; 30:27, 33; 66:15-16; Nah.1:5-6).
Thousand thousands ministered unto him . . . also at the giving of the law (Deut.33:2; 1 Ki.22:19; Ps.68:17; Heb.12:22; Jude 1:13).
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him (Rev.5:11)this is a huge amount.
The judgment was set, (Ps.96:11-13; Mal.3:16-18; Mat.25:31-46; Rev.20:11-15).
The books were opened . . . (Dan.7:10; Rev.20:11-15). All that is written in the books shall be made public at the judgment (Mk.4:22; Lk.12:2; Rom.2:16). All connected with the condemnation of Antichrist and his kingdom, will be settled before the setting up of Christ Jesus’ Kingdom. Judgment must pass on the evil world BEFORE the glory of God comes to stay.
Facts about God and His Righteous Judgment
- Judgment thrones are set (Dan.7:9).
- God shall be seen with the natural eyes.
- God sits on a throne, meaning He has a Body as we do (Dan.7:9).
- God wears clothes (Dan.7:9).
- His clothing here is white (Dan.7:9).
- He has a Head with hair on it (Dan.7:9).
- The color of His hair is white like pure wool (Dan.7:9).
- His throne is like a fiery flame. (Dan.7:9).
- The wheels of His throne are like burning fire (Dan.7:9; Eze.1:15-20,25-28; 10:9-13).
- A fiery stream comes from before Him (Dan.7:10).
- Countless saints, angels minister before Him (Dan.7:10).
- Countless others stand before Him (Dan.7:10).
- The judgment is set (Dan.7:10).
- The books are opened (Dan.7:10; Rev.20:12-15).
Daniel 7:11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. (KJV)
It seems that while Almighty God is setting the judgment scene in Heaven to determine who will enter the Kingdom of Christ . . . on Earth the little horn continues his repulsive and vile blaspheming and boasting (Rev.13:5-6). But Daniel clearly tells us the little horn’s judgment is fixed and his kingdom shall be utterly doomed.
His body destroyed, and given to the burning flame . . . the last beast was/is a kingdom. The importance of the kingdom of the little horn represented by the last beast (Antichrist) is NOT on its beginning but on its utter end. The Roman Empire fell! The government was destroyed and I am sure much was given to the burning flame.
http://ancienthistory.about.com/od/fallofrome/a/EndofRome.htm
Does Daniel 7:11 contradict Rev.19:20? I say NO! Daniel speaks of the kingdom of the little horn, while Revelation speaks of the ruler of the kingdom. Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (KJV)
Daniel 7:12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. (KJV)
The beasts or kingdoms that preceded the little horn would each reign for a season and a time, then pass away . . . which allows a succeeding one to take its place until the little horn comes whose kingdom is the eighth and last kingdom before the Second Coming of Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth forever (Dan.7:12-14,18,27; 8:20-25; 9:27; 11:35-45; Dan.12; Mat.24:15-31; 25:31-46; 2 Thes.1:7-10; 2:8-12; Jude 1:14; Rev.13; 17:8-17; 19:11-21).
Although the first three beasts were destroyed, the belief and viewpoint of the kingdoms they represent apparently live on and will be displayed in the Great Tribulation period.
Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. (KJV)
One like the Son of man . . . the Messiah, this is the same as the stone in Daniel chapter 2. He came with the clouds of heaven (Mat.24:30), gloriously, swiftly and terribly (Jer.4:13).
They brought him near before him . . . the Son of God in Heaven is here invested with the authority to take the kingdoms of this world from the Gentiles and establish His Kingdom. The Lord Jesus is that stone cut out without hands which smites the image. He will establish His Kingdom here upon the Earth. The psalmist says: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession (Ps.2:8). Christ Jesus shall take over the kingdom. HOW? Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel (Ps.2:9). When He comes to the Earth, the Millennium will not just be there waiting for Him. He will have to put an end to all rebellion, and only those who are obedient to Him will enter into the Kingdom. And came to the Ancient of days . . . it seems that the Ancient of days is God the Father.

Daniel 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. (KJV)
This prepares the way for the Coming of Christ and the smashing of the image by the stone cut out without hands (Rev.19:11-16).
An everlasting dominion seems to contradict the doctrine of the Millennium, the Kingdom of 1000 years (Rev.20:1-5). At the end of the thousand years, which is a test period with Christ ruling, there will be a time of rebellion against Him. Satan shall be released for a short time (Rev.20:7-10), and from that time on, the Kingdom will then last for eternity.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years (vs. 6). The thousand-year Kingdom is just a minor part of the everlasting Kingdom (2 Pet.3:8). This is clearly outlined in Revelation chapter 20. Christ shall reigns a 1000 years on the Earth under heavenly conditions (Mat.6:10). After the 1000 year period, Satan shall be released.
http://www.godcannotlie.org/rev_ch20.htm
The unregenerate human heart, shall still rebel against God, and run to Satan's leadership. He shall assemble them to make war against Christ. The devil that deceived them shall be cast into the lake of fire (Rev.20:10). The lost dead are raised for judgment, and those who rebelled against Christ shall stand before the Great White Throne (Rev.20:11-15). After all that, the eternal part of the Kingdom takes place.
The Word of God makes it very clear that the location of this Kingdom is on the Earth.
Micah 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. (KJV) . . . Also see: (Isa.2:3; Jer.31:6; 50:4-5; Zec.8:20-23).
Consider These Great Bible Truths:
(1.) Christ Jesus will receive a Kingdom at His Second Coming (Dan.7:13-14; Zec.14; Mat.24:29-31; 25:31-46; Jude 1:14; Rev.11:15; 19:11; 20:10).
(2.) His Kingdom will be eternal (Dan.7:1-14;18,27; 2:35, 44-45; 4:3; 6:26; Ps.45:6; 145:13; 146:10; Isa.9:6-7; Obad,1:21; Mic.4:7; Mat.25:31-46; Lk.1:32-33; Heb.1:8; Rev.11:15; 22:4-5).
(3.) His eternal subjects will be the coming eternal generations of natural people who will continue the same program that Adam and his race would have carried out if man had not fallen (Gen.8:22; 9:12; Dan.7:13-14,18,27; 2:44-45; Isa.9:6-7; 59:21; Rev.11:15).
The Definition of the Four Beasts (7:15-18)
Daniel 7:15 I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. (KJV)
The visions Daniel saw, deeply disturbed, troubled and terrified him. This is proof that the spirit of man and his body are two distinct things (Mat.10:28), and that the spirit exists separate from the body (Lk.16:19-31; 2 Cor.5:8; Phil.1:21-24; Jam.2:26; Rev.6:9), and that the spirit is immortal (Ecc.12:7; Mat.10:28; Lk.12:20; Rev.20:4).
Daniel 7:16 I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. (KJV)
Unto one of them that stood by . . . an angel that ministered. Asked him the truth of all this . . . Daniel wanted to know the true and full meaning of this vision; which the angel willingly told him.
Daniel 7:17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. (KJV)
These great beasts are four kings, they were men of the Earth, having worldly values which is ambition, greed, idolatry, power and oppression. These kings all acted their parts, but they all lost their kingdoms in the end.
Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever. (KJV)
Christ Jesus is the King of the saints (TRUE believers). NO man (pope) can make a saint!
http://www.godcannotlie.org/true_children_of_god.htm
http://www.godcannotlie.org/saving_faith.htm
Christ Jesus (Messiah) shall possess His Kingdom forever! It shall be forever, because the Kingdom of Christ is the last kingdom! NEVER shall anyone succeed after the Kingdom of Heaven ruled by Christ, for it shall be forever!
The Explanation of the Fourth Beast (7:19-28)
The emphasis (importance) is placed on the fourth beast. Here is where Daniel put the emphasis and where God put the emphasis. We should also, for our period in history fits somewhere in the time of the fourth beast.
Daniel 7:19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; (KJV)
His nails of brass . . . this is not mentioned in the seventh verse where the description of the fourth beast is given. It might be added here because for the first time, Daniel hears it from the angel who is now explaining the fourth beast. There are several guesses about the brass nails, I think possibly it means the fourth beast was a mean, violent man and the brass nails means that he could tear a person up and break him in pieces quicker.
The thighs of the image were of brass in Daniel 2:32, but no brass nails there in Chapter 2.
Daniel 7:20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. (KJV)
And of the ten horns . . . what did they mean? Daniel also asked about the ten horns on the fourth beast’s head and the little horn that came up and destroyed three of the other horns (power, ruler). This little horn seemed much greater than the others. It had human eyes and a mouth that blasphemed and boasted arrogantly. The little horn was more terrifying than any of the others. Whose look was more stout than his fellows . . . he had a fierce and vicious power.
Daniel 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; (KJV)
Made war with the saints . . . persecuted the Church (Rev.11:7; 13:7).
He prevailed . . . but NOT in the end. The limit is marked by the word until in the next verse. The little horn continues, without a break, to persecute Christians (TRUE believers, saints) up until Christ's Second Coming (Rev.17:12, 14; 19:19-20).
There are some who think that Antiochus IV Epiphanes was the little horn, which would make the saints the Jewish people. Then there are others who say the little horn was the pope, and see this as referring to the cruel persecutions of the popes of Rome against the Protestant Church.
Daniel 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. (KJV)
The Ancient of days here is Christ Jesus . . . Christ Jesus is the only One Who will be able to put down the Antichrist. The saints . . . some say this is not talking about New Testament saints because this is the Old Testament. I disagree. Yes, the Book of Daniel is in the Old Testament, but Daniel was a prophet telling of future things . . . things in the New Testament! I think this verse tells of Christ Jesus’ Second Coming when the saints shall come with Him and shall judge with Him (Zec.13:5; Mat.19:28; 1 Cor.6:1-3; 1 Thes.3:13; 2 Tim.2:12; Jude 1:14-15; Rev.2:26-27; 3:21; 20:4). Daniel speaks of something in the distant future here.
The Ancient of days came . . . this title applied to the Father in Daniel 7:13, but is here applied to the Son; who is called the everlasting Father (Isa.9:6). The Father is NEVER said to come; it is the Son who comes. Consider the following Scriptures: John 10:30 I and my Father are one. (KJV) John 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (KJV)

Daniel 7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. (KJV)
The fourth beast is identified here as a kingdom and in verse 17 as a king. It is impossible to separate a king from his kingdom . . . as one commentator has wisely said: they belong together like two sides of a door.
Daniel 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. (KJV)
There are ten horns (kings) that rise up out of this fourth beast, meaning the final form of the fourth kingdom. Ten horns . . . are the ten toes (Dan.2:41). Each of these kings represents a kingdom. It is out of the fourth kingdom that the ten horns arise, whatever exterior territory any of them possess (Rev.13:1; 17:12).
An eleventh king, the little horn will arise. He will be quite different from all the others and will rise up to world power by subduing three of the kings. He will in reality become the dictator of the entire world. This is the exact picture that is given to us: Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (KJV) . . . My friend, He is the Man of Sin (2 Thes.2:3), the Antichrist (1 Jn.2:18, 22; 4:3; 2 Jn.1:7), and he shall rule the world during the Great Tribulation period (Rev.6-18), which shall be a period of seven years (Dan.9:27). I am sure that this false Messiah (Christ) will never be called Antichrist or the Beast, especially at the first of his appearance because he shall be well received, honored, idolized, revered and worshipped (Dan.11:36-37; Rev.13:4, 8, 12-13, 15; 2 Thes.2:4). Possibly after he shows his true side (Dan.9:27; Rev.6:4), he then could well be called the beast!
Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (KJV)
The little horn shall be a blasphemer. Revelation 13:5-6 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (KJV)
One of the main characteristics of Antichrist is that he is totally against God, against Christ and against God’s TRUE children, the saints (Rev.13:6). That is one of the meanings of antichrist; the other meaning is to imitate Christ. I think that the two beasts of Revelation 13 represent these two sides of Antichrist: (1.) Antichrist is against Christ and a blasphemer; and (2.) Antichrist is a false prophet and tries to imitate Christ . . . but even though Antichrist tries his best to act like a lamb, he is really a wolf in sheep's clothing (Mat.7:15-20).
He shall wear out the saints of the most High . . . this does not mean like some preachers wear out the saints on Sunday mornings! It means to afflict and persecute the saints (Rev.12:13-17). Most of God’s TRUE saints are weary because of the wickedness of this world. Corruptions and dishonesties are being committed on an enormous scale by the U.S. government, and apostasy is everywhere. Woe unto America! Woe unto the world! The New World Order is here to stay!

And think to change times and laws . . . the horrible little horn ruler will change customs and laws. As I see it, we are racing at break-neck speed in that direction right now! (Mat.15:9; Mk.7:7; 1 Tim.4:1-3; Tit.1:14; Heb.13:9; Rev.22:18). I am an old woman, and I have never seen so many laws being changed, just in the past few years. We are witnessing these things as they happen! U.S. laws are being passed to silence Christians: (1.) Laws now prosecute abortion protesters outside of abortion clinics. (2.) Laws now legalize same sex marriages. (3.) Laws now prosecute Christians as hate criminals for preaching what the Bible says against the sin of homosexuality. (4.) The secret organizations of the world power elite are no longer secret. They have planned and are now leading us into a one-world Communist government. We are living in perilous times (2 Tim.3:1-7). BEWARE!!! Stay close to Jesus! Keep your eyes on Jesus, as did Peter when he left the boat and walked on water to meet Jesus (Mat.14:29) . . . but the moment Peter took his eyes off Jesus, down he went! KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS! Even though Satan will try the saints more and more with each passing day, God is still on His throne, and God the Spirit lives within us (Rom.8:9). We belong to Jesus Christ and He has sealed us with His Spirit (Eph.1:13; 4:30). God is so good.
DO NOT MESS WITH GOD’S WORD! (Deut.4:2; 12:32; Josh.1:7; Pro.30:6; Ecc.12:13; Mat.5:18, 43; 15:2-9; Mk.7:1-13; Gal.3:15; Rev.22:18-19).
The time of the little horn’s reign is short: they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Time is one year, times is 2 years, and dividing of time is ½ year; which is a total of 3 ½ years. It is during this last 3 ½ year period of the Great Tribulation (Mat.24:21) that this evil monster will rule this earth in great desperation (Rev.11:2-3; 12:6,14; 13:5).
Daniel 7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. (KJV)
The judgment shall sit . . . reminds us of the scene in Heaven in Revelation chapters 4 & 5 where thrones are shown. It is determined by the One on the central throne and by the Lamb who is the Executor of the judgment, and it is all in agreement with all God's created and redeemed intelligences of Heaven that the beast must be put down. His dominion must be ended and he himself judged. The judgment shall sit . . . this cannot be changed. This judgment continues through the Great Tribulation and is completed by the Return of Christ to the Earth to establish His Kingdom (Rev.19:11-21). When that happens, the times of the Gentiles (Lk.21:24) which began with Nebuchadnezzar will end.
To consume and destroy it unto the end . . . a two-fold operation. Antichrist is to be gradually consumed, as Rome’s Papacy has been consuming the world for centuries, and especially recently, and he, this man of sin (2 Thes.2:3-4) is also to be destroyed by Christ at His Return to Earth (Zec.14:1-5; Rev.19:11-21).
Daniel 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. (KJV)
The kingdom and dominion . . . this speaks of the everlasting Kingdom of Christ. The kingdom under the whole heaven . . . under heaven tells us that it is a kingdom on earth, not in Heaven.
This everlasting kingdom refers to the eternal Kingdom of Christ Jesus which shall first come in its millennial (1000 years) part (Rev. 20), and then after that it shall open up and remain for eternity. The Millennium is simply a thousand year period which shall test the people after the devil is released from the bottomless pit. The eternal Kingdom shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Christ Jesus’ Kingdom shall be everlasting, and not even the last judgment (vs.26) shall end it. I think that it will only give it a more glorious appearance to the saints of God, when the New Jerusalem comes down from God out of Heaven (Rev.21:2), with the throne of God and the Lamb (Rev. 22:1, 3).
Daniel 7:28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart. (KJV)
Daniel did not reveal to his associates the visions and their contents since they belonged to the end time (our day, and the New Testament). The visions were disturbing to Daniel, and they made quite an impression on him, for it seemed to alter his entire outlook. The study of prophecy in today’s world is NOT for the self-gratification, idle curiosity or vain knowledge, but instead it brings on careful, prayerful study of prophetic Scripture that has a transforming effect on the life of a TRUE believer.

My cogitations much troubled me . . . showing that the Holy Spirit intended much more to be understood by Daniel than the words that Daniel understood on his own.
Special Comments on Daniel 7
Comments on the four beasts:
- The four beasts are four kings or kingdoms one after the other (Dan. 2:39-43; 7:17, 23-24; 8:20-23; Rev.17:9-11).
- 2. The God of Heaven will set up a Kingdom in the days of the ten kingdoms and the little horn (Dan.2:44-45; 7:18, 27; Rev.17:8-17).
- 3. The Kingdom of Heaven and of God will be given to the saints over which they shall rule (Dan.7:13-14, 18, 27; Mat.13:41-50; 25:31-46; Rom.8:17-18; 1 Cor.6:2; 2 Tim. 2:12; Rev.1:6; 5:10; 20:4-6).
- The reign of Christ and His saints will be eternal (Dan.7:14).
- The inhabitants of the Eternal Kingdom will be the coming eternal generations of natural people of all races (Dan.7:14).
- The fourth beast is the fourth kingdom (the old Roman Empire) which shall devour the territories of the first three beasts (Dan.7:7-8, 19; 23).
- The ten horns are ten kingdoms out of the fourth kingdom (the old Roman Empire territory). They are yet to be formed (Dan.7:7-8, 20, 20-23; Rev.17:9-18). http://www.lastdaysprophecy.org/L_D_one_world_revived_roman_empire.htm http://www.lastdaysprophecy.org/L_D_%20e_t_read_understand_watch_wait.htm
- The little horn is the Antichrist who will come up among the ten kingdoms after they are formed (Dan.7:7-8, 20, 20-23; Rev.17:9-18). http://www.lastdaysprophecy.org/L_D_%20e_t_antichrist.htm
- The little horn shall be different in power from the ten kingdoms (Dan. 7:7-8. 20, 23-24; 8:20-23; 11:35-45; Rev.13:1-18; 17;8-18).
- The little horn shall subdue three of the ten kingdoms in his rise to power (Dan. 7:7-8. 20, 23-24; 8:20-23; 11:35-45; Rev.13:1-18; 17;8-18).
- The little horn shall speak great things (Dan.7:8, 11, 20, 25; 8{23-25; 11:36; Rev.13:5).
- The little horn shall make war on the saints (Dan.7:21, 25; 8:23-25; 9:27; 11:35-45; 12:7; Rev.11:7; 13:7; 14:9-11; 15:2-4; 20:4-6). Antichrist shall prevail against them, until 3 things happen: (a) Until the Ancient of Days comes to the Earth at the Second Coming to defeat and destroy the little horn (Dan.7:21-22, 26-27; 8:23-25; 9:27; 11:40-45; Rev.17:8-18; 19:11-21). (b) Until judgment is given to the saints (Dan.7:22; 2 Cor.6:2). (c) Until the time for the saints to possess the kingdom (Dan.7:18, 22, 27; Mat.25:31-46; Lk.22:30; Rom.8:17-18; 2 Tim.2:12; Rev.1:6; 5:10; 11:15; 20:4-6; 22:4-5).
- The little horn shall change times and laws for three and a half years (Dan.7:25; 12:7; Rev.13:5).
- The little horn shall come to an end when the Ancient of Days comes and the judgment is held (Dan.7:26; 8:25; 9:27; 11:40-45; 12:7; Rev.19:11-21).
- The kingdom of the little horn, and all other world kingdoms shall be given to Christ and the saints of the Most High, which shall become the Kingdom of God on Earth forever (Dan.7:13-14, 18, 27; 2:44-45; Zec.14; Rev.19:11-21; 20:1-10).
Some Facts about the Antichrist
- He will speak great words (Dan.7:8, 11, 20, 25; 8:23-25; 11:36; Rev.13:5).
- He will be slain (Dan.7:11; 8:25; 11:45; Isa.11:4; 2 Thes.2:8; rev.19:20). To be slain (killed) at the Second Coming of Christ, the Antichrist must be a mortal man of the last days, one who must die his own appointed death (Heb.9:27). Because of this, he will not, he cannot be some historical man who has died and been resurrected as an immortal man and an incarnation of Satan, as some believe.
- His body will be destroyed eternally (Dan.7:11; Mat.10:28; Lk.12:5).
- His body will be cast into Hell’s lake of fire (Dan.7:11; Rev.19:20; 20:10).
When Will the Kingdom of Christ be Set Up?
- At the Return of the King of glory (; Isa.9:6-7; Dan.2:44-45; 7:13-14; 8:18-22; Zec.14; Mat.25:31-46; 2 Thes.1:7; Jude 1:14; Rev.17:14; 19:11 through 20:7).
- When Jerusalem is surrounded by armies (Zec.14).
- After the church is raptured (1 Cor.15:51-58; 1 Thes.4:13-18), because the church comes back to Earth from Heaven with Christ to help Him set up the kingdom and reign over the nations (Zec.14:1-5; Jude 1:14; Rev.1:4-5; 5:10; 17:14; 19:11-21). The church shall be raptured before the coming of the Antichrist (2 Thes.2:7-8) and Antichrist shall make his appearance before Christ comes (2 Thes.2:1-6), therefore Christ's Kingdom cannot be set up until these things take place.
- The Kingdom of Heaven (of Christ) shall take place after the coming Tribulation period, because Christ Jesus does not come back to the Earth with the saints until then (Dan.12:1-13; Zec.14:1-21; Mat.24:15-31; Rev.19:11-21).
- The Kingdom of Heaven (of Christ) shall take place after the great apostasy and the revelation of the Antichrist, for Antichrist can be destroyed only by Christ at His Second Coming to Earth, so the beast (Antichrist) must be here when Christ comes (Dan.7:18-27; 8 ;16-27; 11:36 through 12:13; Thes.2:1-12; Rev.19:11-21).
- At the time the Antichrist is destroyed and Satan is bound for 1,000 years (Rev.5:10; 20:1-7). During the Church Age and the future Tribulation period, Satan is loose (1 Pet.5:8; Rev.12:12-17; 20:1-7). BEWARE!!! The devil is still loose and very active! So we are still in the Church Age and will be until Christ comes to bind the devil.
- The Kingdom of Heaven (of Christ) shall take place after the first resurrection, for the saints shall reign with Christ on Earth for 1,000 years (Rev.5:9-10; 20:1-6). So, the saints must first be resurrected before they can reign with Christ in His Kingdom. This time in which we now live is the period of suffering for Christ, not the period of reigning with Him, for the Rapture nor the Great Tribulation has taken place yet (Rom.8:18; 1 Cor.15:20-58; 2 Cor.5:6; Phil.1:23; Col.1:24; 2 Tim.2:12; 3:12). The 1,000 year Millennium lies between the resurrection of the righteous and that of the wicked (I Thes.4:13-18; Rev.20:4-6, 11-15).
- After Israel is gathered back from all countries (Eze.20:33-36; 36:17-38; 37:-28; Hos.3:4-5).
- After Israel finally repents (Zec.12:10-14; 13:1-9; 14:1-21; Mat.23:37-39; 24:15-31; 25:31-46; Rom.11:25-29).
- When the Jews are delivered from the armies of the nations and become a blessing to all the families of the earth (Gen.12:1-3; Ps.2:6-8; Isa.9:6-7; 25:6-9; Zec.9:9-11; 14:1-21; Acts 15:13-18; Lk.1:32-35).
- In the days of the ten kings of Revised Rome Empire (Dan.2:40-45; 7:18-28; Rev.17:8-18). http://www.lastdaysprophecy.org/L_D_one_world_revived_roman_empire.htm http://www.lastdaysprophecy.org/L_D_%20e_t_read_understand_watch_wait.htm
- At the end of the times of the Gentiles (Lk.21;20-24; Rom.11:25-29).
- After God shall put down rebellion on Earth (Acts 1:7-11; 3:19-21; 1 Cor.15:24-29).
- At the destruction of the earthly kingdoms spoken of by the Books of Daniel and Revelation (Dan.2:44-45; 7:13-14; Zec.14; Rev.11:15; 17:14).
- After all of Revelation chapters 6-19 is fulfilled, for in Rev.19:20 Christ Jesus shall remove the wicked devil and ALL who follow him, and He sets up His eternal Kingdom.
Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. (KJV) . . . This speaks of God the Father because the Son of Man who came . . . . near before Him is Christ Jesus!
- WHO is the Ancient of Days?
The identity of the Ancient of Days is an interesting subject. If we carefully consider the Scriptures, we will see that this Title absolutely refers to BOTH the Father and His only begotten Son, Jesus.
Daniel 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. (KJV) . . . This cannot possibly mean God the Father because ALL judgment is given to the Son. Judge, Jesus: (Mat.11:27; 16:27; 25:31-46; 28:18; Jn.5:22-29; Rom.2:16; 14:10; 1 Cor.4:4-5; 2 Tim.4:1, 8; 1 Pet.4:5; Rev.19:11).
Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. (KJV) . . . This parallels verse 22. I think that this might refer to the Father as well, because the description of this Being could parallel God the Father, as well as Christ Jesus. But, Ezekiel 1:15-21 describe the wheels that seem to be part of Christ’s Throne.
Also consider: Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (KJV) . . . Isaiah calls the One here, who is clearly Christ, The Everlasting Father.
I will submit some Scriptures that may help if you are confused.
John 10:30 I and my Father are one. (KJV) . . . not in Person, for the Father is a distinct Person from the Son, and the Son a distinct Person from the Father. But, they BOTH are one in nature and spirit, perfections and power, since Christ Jesus is speaking of the impossibility of plucking away any of the sheep, out of His own and His Father's Hands.
It should be considered that Jesus is both the Son of God and the Son of Man. And as TRUE Christians believe; since He is the Son of God, He lay in the bosom of His Father (Jn.1:18), and had access to all His secrets, His thoughts, purposes and plans . . . and as such, He knew the day and hour of judgment, being God omniscient. In this respect, He is ONE with the Father, having the same perfections of power, knowledge and wisdom . . . but as the Son of Man, He is not of the same nature as the Father, and has not the same knowledge. His human knowledge of things was not infinite.
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (KJV) . . . My friend, Jesus IS God! http://www.hisservants.org/is_jesus_god_h_s.htm
He that hath seen me hath seen the Father . . . all TRUE believers have seen Jesus AND the Father . . . NOT with physical eyes, but with the eyes of understanding; and any person that has seen Him, has seen the perfections of the Godhead in Jesus. The perfections the apostles saw in Jesus, were the exact same ones that were in the Father.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. (KJV)
John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (KJV)
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (KJV)
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; (KJV)
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (KJV) . . . this speaks of the ‘Trinity’ (Mat.28:19; John 14:26; 15:26; 2 Cor.13:14; 1 Pet.1:2). We have a very unique God! He is three Persons, but ONE GOD! Just as an egg has three different elements: shell, white and yolk; it takes all three to make ONE egg! So it is with our God; He is three different Persons, yet ONE God. And all three Persons always agree, and are always in perfect harmony!
The FALSE Christ, the Antichrist
The Bible describes this pretend Christ differently than what many people think. He will NOT be fearsome or frightening, not when he first comes on the scene. He shall win people over to him by being friendly, nice and warm towards them. He will use everything to his advantage. His charming personality and way with words will easily enable him to manipulate people to get his way. One of the devil’s most brilliant plans is to present himself NOT as a menacing monster but instead, as an appealing, charming angel of light (2 Cor.11:14). He knows very well that he can attract many more flies with honey that he can vinegar, and that he can advance his plan more effectively by using a friendly, likeable public image. The Bible then clearly tells us that this evil beast, the Antichrist will be charming, intelligent and silver-tongued. People will like him, and he will be a natural leader.
The Bible also tells us that the Antichrist will be successful in achieving something that has eluded some of the leading statesmen (and women) of our time . . . that being peace in the Middle East. THAT would be impossible unless he was important and likeable, and was observed by all parties as honorable, reliable, and trustworthy.
Will this man know that He is the Antichrist?
NO one knows who this man is! And I do not think that he knows he is the fourth beast (the antichrist). And NO one knows if this man is alive at this time. Only God knows this!
I do not think this man will be known by the Biblical terms (Antichrist or Beast). I think he will be high up in government somewhere in the world, and I think he will be greeted as Mr. President, Mr. Prime Minister, Mr. Secretary, Your Highness or some respectful title. So, will this evil man controlled by Satan, know who he is . . . or will he be more interested in the job that he is manipulated to do by unseen, sinister forces?
The Scriptures seem to indicate that he is self-aware and knows what he is doing. It seems that every move he makes is carefully and cleverly calculated. The grand performance he puts on to persuade Israel to sign his seven-year Mideast peace plan must surely be a thing of unequaled beauty (Dan.9:27).
Israel shall sign the peace treaty! BUT . . . mid way in the contract, the Antichrist breaks the treaty. Three and a half years later, this same so-called nice-guy (Antichrist) does an about-face, betrays Israel, and a multi-nation military force occupies Israel.
As I see it, from then on, I think that the man, Antichrist, will be well aware that he is definitely on a mission. In his mind, he may well think he is a power for good, like Hitler thought he was. He may not see himself as “evil,” per se. One thing about evil is, it has a non-fillable capacity for self-justification and self-deception. The Antichrist, like his boss (the Dragon), will be self-deceived.
Will the Antichrist Be Jewish?
I do NOT know if the Antichrist:
- Will be Jewish or Gentile, or
- Will come from any specific geographical location.
Below are some comments of others:
Daniel 11:37-38 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. 38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. (KJV) . . . From this Scripture, it seems that the Antichrist's Father Will Be Jewish. The Bible teaches that the Antichrist will not honor the God of his fathers. This seems to be proof that the Antichrist will have to be Jewish!
Nor the desire of women, nor regard any god . . . for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. If the Antichrist's fathers were Jewish fathers, then obviously he must be Jewish as well.
Jews today blatantly reject Jesus as their Messiah (Christ). But, Judaizers today are persistently looking for the Coming of their Messiah. They shall be shocked, because the one that shall come will be the coming Antichrist . . . whom they will receive.
John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. (KJV) . . . Jesus’ Words!
In addition, the Bible teaches that the Antichrist will not honor the God of his fathers. Clearly, this plainly evidences that the Antichrist will be Jewish . . . or partly Jewish. See Daniel 11:37-38 above.
The Antichrist is called the man of sin, the son of perdition (2 Thes.2:3). He will be a totally lawless one. The ACLU, American Civil Liberties Union, was founded by Jews and is operated by Jews today. They are not only liberals, but they do NOT want anyone praying to Jesus. They want NO manger scene, NO Ten Commandments, NO Jesus in any way! BEWARE!!! The ACLU are ultimate law breakers. They hate the precious Name of Jesus.
Authentic vs. Counterfeit
The Antichrist’s first dealings with Israel, including his ability to get them to sign on to his Mideast peace treaty tell us that his true character will NOT be evident at first (Rev.6:2). But as the Tribulation progresses, it will become very clear that he is up to no good (Rev.3-8). Israel will be brought back to reality when he cancels his agreement with them half way through the peace treaty, and clears the way for an international military force to occupy Israel. They will finally realize that the Beast (Dan.7:7,19) is NOT the compassionate peacemaker he portrayed himself to be (Rev.6:2). He certainly will NOT be a friend of the Jewish people, but instead quite the opposite! He will be a Hitler-like, vicious anti-Semite. Hitler’s Holocaust will be mild when compared to what the Antichrist will do! Antichrist, the beast and the Dragon, the devil (Rev.ch.12; Rev.13:11,13; 16:13; 20:2) will know that IF they can exterminate the Jewish people, God will NOT be able to keep His Promises to Abraham. Their reasoning is sound and their plan is brilliant; BUT THEIR PLAN WILL FAIL.
The Antichrist’s Destiny
The Antichrist’s career will rise and fall quickly, probably less than 10 years. The world will be introduced to him when he emerges possibly as an economic or political leader somewhere in the Old Roman Empire world. I think that he will quickly earn worldwide acclaim when he successfully sets up a seven-year Mid-east peace agreement (Dan.9:27). During the first three and a half years, the Jewish people from the worldwide Diaspora will return as one to share in Israel’s newly won peace, prosperity and security (Isa.11:12,16; 27:13; 43:6; Zec.10:8-12). But, half way into the agreement, the Antichrist will break his promise and clear the way for an epic, anti-Semitic movement against Israel, which will exceed even Hitler’s Nazi Holocaust with its horrific murders and cruel inhumaneness. This second 3 ½ year period is called the Great Tribulation, because of its horrors (Mat.24:21).

After three and a half years of persecuting the Jewish people . . . seven years after the signing of the peace treaty . . . a huge, multinational military force will encompass Jerusalem, like a ravenous lion closing in for the kill after stalking its prey. This all will be organized by the Antichrist, the Beast (Dan.7:7,19), utilizing whatever resources are at his beck and call.
Just as the scales fell from Saul’s eyes, allowing him to see again (Acts 9:18), millions of Jews will finally SEE and recognize that Yeshua (JESUS) is their Messiah. God will touch their hearts and the scales of unbelief will fall from their spiritual eyes. Gospel seeds that have been sown in Israel and around the world for centuries by Messianic ministries and congregations will germinate at long last, taking root in their hearts! Virtually all Israel will be born again in one day.
Romans 11:25-28 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. (KJV) . . . (Isa.45:17; 54:6-10; Jer.3:17-22; 31:31-37; 32:37-41).
The Apostle Paul looked forward to this glorious day when he said that the time would come when all Israel will be saved (vs.26). He said it would be like life from the dead (Rom.11:15). There is a day coming when masses of Jewish believers shall realize their terrible predicament, and call out for God to save them. Yeshua (JESUS) will descend from the heavens over Jerusalem and destroy Israel’s enemies in one, major swoop (Zec.14; Rev.19:11-21). Everything that the Antichrist, under the control of Satan, the Dragon (Rev.12), has been planning for years to accomplish (to utterly destroying Israel), will be undone in a matter of seconds at the end of Armageddon (Zec.12:11; Rev.16:16).
Contrasting the Messiahs
Christ the TRUE Messiah Antichrist the FALSE Messiah
Christ descended from Heaven (Jn.6:38) Will ascend from the abyss (Rev.11:7)
Came in the Name of the Father (Jn.5:43) Will come in his own name (Jn.5:43)
Was despised by the world (Isa.53:3) Will be revered, worshipped (Rev.13:4)
Came humbly as a servant (Phil.2:7-8) Will claim to be God (2Th.2:4; Dan.11:36)
Something More Important than Antichrist’s Identity
We may not fully understand, but we have an important part in end-time changes, and in the fulfillment of the ancient prophecies. Even if the prophecies are not fulfilled until long after we are gone, we will still be in the picture when it finally happens. HOW? God clearly tells us that His Word never returns to Him void (Isa. 55:11). So, when we share the Good News of Christ Jesus, the Messiah with anyone during our life-time, we are planting seeds in people’s hearts that will take root someday and blossom into new life. The apostle Paul applied this pattern of planting, watering and harvesting to his own ministry (1 Cor.3:5-7), and we should imitate him.
Did you ever toss a stone into a pond? Did you ever watch the ripples of water extend outward in a cascade of little waves? That is how our influence lives on, even long after we are gone. If we are faithful in sowing the seed, someone else will come along and water that seed. God takes our efforts and multiplies them in a way that will glorify Him.
I never thought when I was given this poem in 1999, that I would be using it here in 2016! God certainly does work in very mysterious ways! To Him be all the glory!
RIPPLES
When into the water, a stone I throw,
Such pretty ripples, wander to and fro.
This makes me think, of what we should do,
Tell others of Christ Jesus, me and you!
Serving Christ, is like a pretty little wave,
For we are reaching out, lost souls to save!
Each one we reach, has a ‘ripple’ effect,
Jesus’ command, we must not neglect!
Just as ripples, are caused by a stone,
A lost one is reached, by God’s Word, alone!
So we must the Gospel, to lost souls take,
Jesus’ command, we must not forsake!
Just as ripples wander to the shore,
God’s Word into hearts, we must try to pour!
Then that person, will reach to another,
And into God’s family, comes yet one other!
As a ripple, each one of us must be,
Reaching out to lost souls, constantly!
Do you tell others, just Jesus can save?
Do you ripple, as a pretty little wave?
